This chant is how I begin class everyday. Not only is it a great way for the kids to get motivated for class (and teach them to spell the word achievement), but it's a great procedure for beginning a class.
We pat, pat (our desks), and clap, clap (our hands) in rhythm through the chant. The kids love it and so do I.

This is a chant I have used with my 4th graders for many years changing the title of the test as the years have passed. All my fourth graders have loved it! The chant is set to the tune we will, we will, rock you. They've stomped it, clapped it, and even performed it for the whole school. It gets them excited and empowered to conquer that STAAR test.
