My students watch the video once and then fill in the lyrics as we listen a second (and sometimes third) time to the song. I wanted a way for them to interact with the video and get the songs stuck in their heads! It is great as the start to a unit and as a fun wrap up.If you would like all 11 America Rock songs including I'm Just a Bill and Sufferi

Controversial at the time, the lyrics describe the anger of the time and what went before. As a listening activity and a class discussion about such themes as prejudice, racism, discrimination, there are few songs that encapsulate the feeling of rage, frustration and disillusionment
