Transition Tunes - Theme Songs & Commercials to MOVE to!
I spent HOURS (maybe DAYS :-)) searching for, compiling and renaming these 55 MP3 files to make them teacher-friendly.
They are all theme songs and commercials in the public domain, so there are no licensing or copyright issues.
I renamed the files with a number in front which indicates how long the "song" is. So, for example, if I want a 1-minute transition, I might choose "59 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which is 59 seconds, or "103 Scooby Doo" which is 1 minute and 3 seconds.

"We Shall Overcome" Civil Rights Song for Orff & Boomwhackers
Singing and playing this American Civil Rights song by Pete Seger allows students the opportunity to connect to "We Shall Overcome" in a meaningful way. You know it had to be done ;) This is a fun morning meeting game! Quick and easy, and no prep. Play 30 seconds to 1 minute of each song. If my students like the song, they give the song a "toot!" and go to one side of the room and they can dance and sing along. If they dislike the song, they give the song a "boot!" and they stand on the opposite side of the classroom.
