What a great way to start the holiday season but by making your own book!! This can be done individually or as a class project. It also could be a great family project! This a book that you may create as a class with your own brainstormed ideas or you may use the pages that my students did. My students preferred to draw their own pictures but you might want to use clip art as well or even paste in pictures that you find. This project is great for children of all ages!!!! Annotating Poetry Through Song
Make poetry fun and relatable again! In this freebie handout students can annotate stanza by stanza. Students can answer questions at the bottom of the handout or teacher can use them as discussion questions.
