Decimal Place Value and Money - Music Video - Math Song
"Change For A Dollar" is a four minute, karaoke style music video, that students can sing along with to help learn about decimal place value. It focuses on the tenths and hundredths places, and how they represent dimes and pennies. This would make a good introduction to decimal place value, or another way to reinforce and review the concept.
I use it with my sixth graders as a review or "Math Starter." The 4th and 5th grade classes at my school also use this song.

Decimal Rules Song
This song adds excitement and movement to the math classroom and helps the students remember those decimals rules! In Middle School some classes love to get up and sing and dance with the motions, while others benefit from us just saying them like a chant or rap while they are working and need a prompt. Songs, rhymes, and jingles are the perfect addition to any math classroom.
