Vocational Support- Calculating Gross Pay
Whether individuals participate in competitive employment or sheltered employment, they need to be able to calculate their pay. Individuals can be paid in a variety of ways: hourly, by piece, commission, or salary. For this resource, I have chosen to focus on hourly pay. In the next few weeks I will publish other resources with piece pay, commission and salary. I will also be publishing work that relates to deductions and net pay. Jumping Dice
This is a very useful little application that can be imported into Interactive Whiteboard software or used on a PC or Mac.
It is a fun set of dice that allows up to 3 dice to be selected. When they are touched (or click on) that jump to generate the number.

This interactive application allows students to enter or have generated an arbitrary 2 digit by 4 digit multiplication problem and takes them step by step through a complete solution. It runs on IPads, ChromeBooks, Macs, PCs, Smart Boards, and any other device with a reasonably up to date browser. Though it can be run from a web site the application is fully self-contained and can be downloaded to a device and run without Internet access.
