Simulation places students in various roles such as worker, socialist, business owner, creditor, President of the United States, and advertiser. In an attempt to have students understand the pros and cons of communism, students are broken up into two groups. The capitalist works alone, while the communist side shares collective resources to answer questions. After a week, students scores are averaged out to determine student class. Once class is determined, students can use the scoresheet to determine which goods they would be able to afford based on their class ranking. Electoral College Map Activity (3 min 31 min Video with directions/ex.)

This hands-on activity allows students to gain a better conceptual understanding of how the electoral college plays into the overall strategy to win the presidency. Students color code the states based on their projections as strong dem, lean dem, toss up, lean rep, and strong rep. *The activity has the side affect of reinforcing knowledge of state locations/spellings, and the relative populations of the various states!

He was asked 1,000 questions so there are so many different responses you can get from him.
