This is a great way to start working on STAAR passages with your students after the holidays. It is a very bright idea a coworker shared with me about four years ago to start implementing STAAR simulations in the classroom. I modified it a bit and gave it a name as well designed the thinking tracks that go along with it. It is a extremely engaging way to apply all knowledge previously taught in the classroom. Students will definitely enjoy the process. I hope it helps someone out there!

Meet the kids where they are with this template loosely modeled after the popular social networking site "Twitter". Students work at higher levels to create microblog posts about what the characters in the novel feel, rather than simply quote what they say in the story. This template works with Comic LifeĀ® and your photo library to create a printable/displayable page for classroom or hallway display. Text fields are editable and photos dragged from your library will automatically resize. Mocki
