Quick, printable conversational questions to ask upon return from Christmas Break. I use these within my social/pragmatic language groups to target conversational turn-taking, topic maintenance, reciprocal conversation, and asking/answering questions. I have my students draw a card from a pile or container. To move on from their turn they must 1. answer the question, 2. ask another student the question or a question related to the topic, or 3. make a relevant contribution to the topic.
