Broadcasting Scripts and Scales
I started teaching broadcasting in the 2017-18 school year. I had to design the newscast from scratch. This document contains all of the scripts that I've designed and the scales that I use to grade. Though these scripts work for my broadcasting class, you may also find them useful if your students are storytelling and designing videos. This product includes fifteen different scripts, their corresponding scales, and descriptions of each of the videos.

Shakespeare - The Tempest

This is a simple film making storyboard reproduceable. It focuses on video and sound. It has a space to draw a picture of the shot and a place to write what dialogue or sounds will be heard. This was a hit in my classroom. Students are given one improv scenario, a box of props, and a few minutes to perform. It got shy students out of their seats, too. My students did not want the class to end. You can modify by having them bring in their own props, adding any type of background music, or display a scene by using a projection unit.
