These activities provide writing experience from the 60-second commercial to a short radio program based on the likes of “The Shadow” or “War of the Worlds.” Writing skills incorporate revising and editing, character development, plot elements, script elements, and lots of creativity. Students continually reflect and improve on each stage of the project. Students write for video as well as audio and learn about the importance of props and sound effects.

This is a little dialogue between two people that uses DO, DOES, DON'T, and DOESN'T in many ways that I use to help EL Newcomers practice both reading and speaking fluency. I always use this in conjunction with Flipgrid, and include an example video of myself and someone else (or, for dramatic entertainment, myself and myself in high and low voices).
