This is an EDITABLE summative math assessment with the theme of pizza and comprises seven questions that center on fractions, decimals, and percents. This is an activity I used to reinforce fraction operations in my 6th grade math class. The students created a class recipe book by each bringing in three of their favorite recipes. They had to include a list of ingredients, as well as instructions for doubling, tripling, or halving the recipe. Fraction Flowers (Percent, Decimal, and Fraction Conversions)
This math activity integrates both math and art. Students create a "fraction flower," with a fraction (in simplest form) as the flower's center. On the surrounding petals, students find three different equivalent fractions and both the percent and decimal conversion of the center fraction.
