Math Project - Metric Domino Dilemna - Metric Conversions
This is a great Math Project. It will teach your students how to convert the units of measurement in metric using dominoes. You will need to pre-teach students the conversions of meters, centimeters, They will have to cut out 32 dominoes and paste them together to make the chain work so all conversions are connected. It is very challenging and sometimes frustrating because at times several dominos fit in one spot.....but only one is the correct one.

Oreo Proportions Project
Students will need a scale, and oreos of variations (regualr, double stuffed, mega stuffed etc.). Students will determine using proportions if double stuffed Oreo's are actually double stuffted (2x the amount of cream) by measuring the weight of the Oreo's on a scale and finding the proportions of each Oreo.Activity also includes finding the diameter and radius of the Oreo as well as finding their height in "Oreo's".
