Central Idea Mini-Project
This Google Slides assignment prompts students to create a text set around a subject of choice. Students must identify the topic of each text, figure out the important details from each text, and then look across those details to determine the central idea of each text.For students who prefer math to ELA, this is a great activity to present finding central idea in a formulaic manner. This can be used as a whole-class activity. This can also be used as an independent project for early finishers.T
