The books I chose were intended for an audience of secondary students. The thematic unit covers the themes of fairness, morality, and ethical responsibilities. I have included summaries of each book as well as comments of why I believe they would be a good choice. Included are three different projects that would work with any of the books chosen. This is a terrific lesson for cross curriculum opportunities and/or team teaching.
