Based on OpenSciEd's Thermal Energy unit. Students observe droplets on the side of the cup and brainstorm where they might be coming from. Two investigations are completed to collect evidence, and students learn that the droplets are coming from condensation. Students end class with the Cold Lemonade on a Hot Day assignment. They may need more time to work the following day.

My 6th and 7th graders had a tough time deciding upon the Best Measure of Center. The notes, in flow chart form, help them to understand and make the best choice.
