Connect 4 Game with Addition to 20 number sentences I split the students up into two teams (yellow and red). I have an actual Connect 4 Game and demonstrated that the pieces fall all the way to the bottom since the Promethean Board cannot do that. I also explain that in order to connect 4 the same color must be touching vertical, horizontal, or diagonal. Divide class into four teams. Players take turns spinning the spinner and collecting/placing the corresponding amount of counters in their chute that matches the roll on the die. Both players must count out loud the total number of counters in their chute as they are added.
