Tis the season for holiday STEM! Here is a SmartBoard activity that I made for a 2nd grade class. This Smart has directions, materials, charts and timers for the activity. Students are to build the tallest Christmas tree that they can in 15 minutes. At the beginning, I have the jobs broken down. For my class, I will not assign specific jobs, but for some classes it could be needed. For older grades, have the students graph their data they collected.
