Color Mixing Flipchart
This flipchart leads students through basic color mixing theory and the color wheel including tertiary colors. Each page is interactive to get the kids involved and motivated. When I use this flipchart, I use it to launch the kids into mixing paint to create their own color wheel and then painting a color theory art work.Be aware, you need the Promethean program ActivInspire to use this flipchart.

Scratch Art Flipchart
Growing up, I loved doing scratch art in art class. If you are not familiar with scratch art, it is where you use several different colors of crayons and color a sheet of paper with the colors. After all white space is covered, you then use a black crayon or pastel to color over all of the colors. Once everything is colored, you "scratch" a design into the black. When you scratch off the black, the colors on the bottom appear as the design.
