TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught a variety of grades from Kindergarten to High school classes in second language settings Spanish and French Immersion.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a great interest in learning language through games and repetition. I find that a big part of language learning is learned through culture, music, and exploring diverse perspectives. WIth this in mind, I have enjoyed using stories that exhibit repetition, new vocabulary, and a cultural aspect to them.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Being able to have conversations with students in a second language and seeing them have fun while doing so.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor of education specializing in primary education. I have studied Spanish from K to 12 in México.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I grew up in México and immigrated to Canada. Ever since being away from México I have quite enjoyed sharing my culture with others as well as the language I grew up with and love using. I quite enjoy learning and exploring different Spanish-speaking cultures.
