I became inspired to teach science as a teenage marine biologist. I started teaching younger kids while I was still in high school. I've been teaching science ever since. My classrooms include 5 National Parks, 2 outdoor schools, and dozens of classrooms, covering 12+ states.
My husband and I have two kids, whom we love to take traveling, backpacking, and tidepooling. We are open-hearted people, accepting and loving of all walks of life. I started WonderGround Science as a way to connect all children to science, in hopes to break traditional social boundaries in the fields of science.
