TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked at public, private, and charter schools! My teaching career began at Carnegie Middle School in Carson, California in 2003. While teaching at Carnegie, I decided to continue my educational pursuits, and enrolled in the Master of Art's program in Curriculum Development and Instruction from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). After graduating from CSULB, and after teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade history for four years at Carnegie, I moved to Medellin, Colombia in 2007. I taught at a private American school in Envigado, Colombia named The Columbus School. After teaching in Colombia for five years, I decided to come back to Los Angeles to teach at Bright Star Secondary Charter Academy (BSSCA). Now I have moved into educational administration but continue to teach classes and develop resources.
