TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 10th year of teaching and I love it as much today as I did the day I started. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I love my upper elementary kids!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I engage my students with my enthusiasm for the subject at hand and with a high energy presentation. My My favorite aspect of teaching is in the planning...yes, I said planning. I enjoy the process of creating activities which will meet the objective, but will engage students.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

The biggest honor I have received was when I became a National Board Certifed Teacher in 2010-2011! I also was voted teacher of the year 2011-2012 by my peers.
