My partner and I have 57 years combined total experience in the third and fourth grade in the public school system. We have taught all subjects but our love for reading and math helps us exceed state standards in those areas.

We believe in making learning engaging and relevant for students while offering a safe, nurturing environment. We have found that being consistent with our teaching and discipline in the classroom encourages students to have self-discipline which creates successful learnings. We enjoy teaching whole group, small groups, and learning through movement and songs. These things combined helps reach all types of learners.

I graduated from Barton in Wilson NC in 1993 with a BS degree in Elementary Education and an Academic Major in Music while my partner in crime graduated from East Carolina University in 1994 with a BS degree in Elementary Education.

We have a passion for helping teachers by creating meaningful and engaging classroom resources that make teaching and learning easier. The resources we are providing are TRIED & TRUE and make learning rigorous, yet fun. The joy we see on a child's face when it's time for reading or math make all the hard work and effort we put into our materials worth every minute.
