TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello! I am a Third Grade Teacher with a background in Special Education. I co-teach all day with a general education rock star! We have been together for 4 years now and loving every minute of it. I also worked as a primary resource teacher years ago before I had 3 children! My husband, kids, and dog live in Plainfield Illinois. We love traveling to warm places in the winter and camping in the summer!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching the workshop and daily 5 model. We sort of do a hybrid of these two approaches in our classroom. We have students with various needs. Some students are well below grade level. My job is to find a way to keep all students learning with the rigor of the standards and meet their needs by reteaching the skills from foundational skills over and over again!
