Although I love teaching, creating curriculum that empowers teachers and parents with any level of Spanish (even beginners) to become instant Spanish teacher for children ages 3-8 is my new passion! I have taught all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens both in Spain and the U.S. One of my favorite jobs was teaching the 3rd and 4th grades in a Spanish Immersion Program. At present I am Owner/Executive Director of O'Neill Language Academy where I develop Spanish lesson plans and CDs and train and mentor foreign language teachers.

I am a firm believer in language immersion. Although my curriculum use language immersion methodology, it is designed for teachers and parents with any level of Spanish to use. I believe in making Spanish fun through games, puppets, role-play, dance, exercise, chanting, culture, songs, humor and so much more!

My husband and I began O'Neill Language Academy, Inc. in 1991. We offer language classes to children as young as 2 years old through senior citizens and all ages in-between. We also have a curriculum line called "Teach & Learn Spanish". We are raising our own children bilingually. I speak to our children in Spanish and my husband in English. It is rewarding and exciting on a daily basis!
