TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a high school teacher of English Literature and AP English Language and Composition at TERRA Environmental Research Institute, in Miami Florida. I am also an adjunct professor at Miami Dade College, where I teach English Composition and Literature classes. I earned a B.S. in English Education, a B.A. in English Literature, and an M.A. in English Literature at Florida International University.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I plan, prepare and deliver lessons to diverse populations, both in whole groups and small groups, with a Differentiated Instruction approach in mind. In my pedagogy, I encourage analytical as well as creative thinking, maintaining high expectations in composition while fostering a love and appreciation for writing.
