I have taught all middle school Social Studies subjects including, western and eastern hemisphere Geography and U.S. History. I currently am teaching all three subjects at a Charter School in Tulsa.
My goal every year is to run a highly disciplined classroom. My students know what I expect of them, and they know what the consequences (good, or bad) are of their actions. I strive to have a very interactive class. We use books, magazines, websites, movies, and so much more in my classroom. That is the great thing about teaching Social Studies, there are so many different resources available to use!

I attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a B.S. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies, and a Minor in History.
I am so blessed to be where I am today. Growing up, my dad cultivated in me a love for history. Adding to my love for history, is my passion of travel and different cultures. So, I decided to combine them and use my passion as a Social Studies teacher! I have not regretted my decision at all. Currently, I work in a Charter School in Tulsa. I am the only middle school Social Studies teacher at my school. Because of that, I am able to see my students grow from year to year which is an amazing gift that not many teachers are able to receive.
