TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have ten years of teaching experience in 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade. I now homeschool preschool and tutor middle and high school math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is a little of everything. In math, I primarily use differentiated small group instruction. My reading and writing instruction is split between whole class instruction and small groups. In science and social studies, my teaching changes to suit the unit.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I earned a grant for rocketry in elementary classes through my district's education foundation.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas. I received my bachelors degree from (Southwest) Texas State University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have 2 beautiful and amazing daughters!
