I have been teaching for over 18 years. I currently work at a K-8 school as a CLDE Specialist within a diverse community in Denver. I have also taught Language Arts, as well as Spanish as a Foreign Language and Spanish Language Arts for Spanish Speakers.
I believe that every child that walks into a classroom has the ability and the right to learn. Holding my students to high expectations in the hopes they too will see and experience their own potential is what I strive to do every day. I begin each day hoping to provide lessons that are rigorous and culturally relevant.
