I love exceptional literature, I love memorable writing, and I love to teach both! After teaching in both public and private homeschool academy classrooms for over 20 years, I am now focused on providing great materials and complete courses ready-to-teach, to empower classroom teachers and homeschool parents to really dig in to literature and creative writing with their students!

I love leading discussions on literature, but my favorite times in class are the projects which allow students to present what they are learning. Socratic seminars, literature circles, and shared responsive writing projects are awesome learning experiences for everyone! Corporate learning experiences are the Robin Hood of my classroom, taking the surplus from the verbally rich to share with the verbally impoverished.

I graduated magna cum laude from Cal State University, Northridge in English Literature.

I have authored several books, but my favorites (so far!) are the At Papa's Knee series of children's devotional storybooks. I am eagerly writing on several new projects currently - some curriculum projects as well as a fiction project. If you need me, you'll find me riding the E-ticket ride that is my family life, here in Southern California.
