TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began my teaching journey right as the pandemic started meaning I had to quickly adapt to changing requirements. I have taught every ability level from honors to resource. I specialize in biology-based sciences and love seeing my students make connections to the world around them.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Some of the teaching styles and strategies I try to incorporate are: - Hands-on Learning - Collaborative Learning - Flipped Classroom Model - Real-Life Examples

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Georgia Southern University, Undergraduate Research Award

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated from Armstrong State University with my Bachelors in Secondary Education with a concentration in Science.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In addition to being a science teacher, I am a busy wife, mom of two, and unashamed yarn hoarder for my crochet hobby. When I'm not in the classroom I can be found reading a good book on a rainy day, playing with my kids, or exploring around where I live. My goal in creating this TPT store is the share what has worked with the education community so we can all help our students achieve great things.
