TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started as a paraprofessional in the classroom while I was getting my Masters in social work. I spent 2012-2016 teaching ELA and Math as a para creating my own curriculum some of which you can see here! 2016-present I have been a school adjustment counselor working with grades K-8, but currently just K-5. I love creating my own curriculum and even though I'm not in the classroom anymore I still love creating engaging academic and SEL lessons. Click follow to see what's to come!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to create curriculum! I create all my resources with the hope of supporting and easing a teacher's workload. My writing projects are always broken down into manageable parts with multiple variations for differentiated learning. I've always taught with lots of visuals as a teacher and as a counselor. I believe strongly in incorporating social emotional learning in with academic learning. I hope that by using my products students will find success in both areas through my unique lens having been in the classroom and as a service provider.
