TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my 6th year of teaching in Texas. I have previously taught 6th grade English before moving up to 7th grade ELA. My goal is to keep moving up until I reach the High School level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching philosophy, like most educators, is that I focus on what is best for students. I like to set clear expectations, yet I like for my students to experience lessons that are relevant to them. In addition, I like to push limits and strive for excellence in every aspect of my profession. Ultimately, I like to teach creatively and visually with lessons that are of high interest to students.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My first year teaching, I was First Year Teacher of the Year in my school district for my campus. After that, I was the level leader for my 6th grade PLC.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Every since my 8th grade Language Arts experience, I knew that I could see myself as an educator. I wanted to be the one who made learning so much fun! My experiences lead me to choose education as my profession in the hopes that I might motivate younger generations to reach their potential and contribute something "marvelous" to this world!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am hopeful that my creations spark a love of learning among students and professionals alike. My goal is to make learning a challenging, fun process.
