Hi! I started my teaching career in Seattle, Washington. My husband and I moved to Dallas, Texas and I began teaching Kindergarten. I fell in LOVE with Kinder. We are now back in our hometown of Seattle and we are loving it! I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade.
In 2012, I stumbled upon "Whole Brain Teaching". I began to watch the online videos and started implementing this style of teaching in my classroom last year. My students loved it!! In June of 2013, I was fortunate enough to attend a Whole Brain Teaching conference.

I received my B.A. in Psychology (with a minor in Philosophy) from the University of Washington. Go Huskies!! I received a MIT degree in Elementary Education from the University of Washington in 2011. I furthered this degree with a Reading endorsement in 2012.
