I'm an elementary school teacher. I teach sixth grade math, as well as high school science ACT classes. I have over 10+ years working with grades 2-8.
I love hands-on activities and in classroom discussion. I try not to send kids home with a lot of busy work, and I want all my activities/assignments to have a guiding purpose. I think kids learn more through relevant discussion and real-world applications.
I have received a plethora of awards ranging from financial literacy instruction to STEM grants. Check back weekly to see what new things are in store.
I have my bachelors from Fisk University. I received my Masters Degree from Lipscomb University.
I currently serve as the Executive Director of camp STEM. A nonprofit STEM and Coding camp based in Tennessee. The camp is a series of one week camps that focus on S.T.E.M.
