TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am the lead counselor and Social-Emotional program coordinator at a Waldorf Charter school supporting 600 students, staff, and their respective parent body the last 4 and a half years. In this position, I provide emotional, social, and behavioral counseling services for students in grades K through 8. I teach individualized lessons catered to the needs of each grade band while also provide family counseling, workshops, and up-to-date care I am eager to cultivate a blooming community, consistent growth, and holistic support in my future position.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Many resources I come across are outdated and fail to reach children where they are. I am incredibly passionate about providing ADHD and neurodivergent friendly information via visuals, color coding, scaffolding information, and categories. I also was trained under Waldorf Education so I enjoy infusing the teaching of Rudolph Steiner in my resources as well. Waldorf Education is growing increasingly popular as parents and teachers alike look for alternatives to common core education.
