TEACHING EXPERIENCE

With 28 years experience as an elementary school counselor (& a decade as elementary art educator), 3 decades a mother, 5 years a grandmother and over 6 decades on this earth, I've managed to accumulate quite a bag of "tricks" (aka lessons and activities) that I love to share with my students and colleagues on their own learning and growing journeys. And now with you all!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is all about building relationship and trust. I believe that when educators form strong, trusting, nurturing relationships with students, a solid foundation is being built from which that student will learn and grow. Not coincindentally, unexpected behaviors begin to dwindle as a sense of belonging and self worth begin to grow.
