The Drama Classroom

I currently teach Secondary Speech & Drama in Oklahoma City. I previously taught Stage and Film Design at the college level in Florida as well as Los Angeles. I hold a B.A. in Communication with an emphasis in Acting & Directing as well as an M.F.A. in Design for Stage and Film.

I like to focus mostly on project-based learning opportunities for my students as well as unique ways to take notes, do graphic organizers, and review material. I also incorporate a multi-media approach as often as possible and make a major effort to use examples from popular culture (books, television, music, and film) to engage students.

I live and work in Oklahoma City, OK. In addition to teaching Speech & Drama, I also sponsor an after school Drama Club. I am a writer, photographer, and crafter.
