TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a fourth year public school teacher. I have taught one year in third grade at a Title I school, and two years in first grade! I have made the move from Baltimore MD to Pensacola FL! I'll be spending my fourth year teaching third grade again and couldn't be more excited!! I am loving every second of teaching primary and watching my littles grow!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to incorporate whole brain teaching strategies, as well as flexible seating within my classroom. My goal from day of the school year is to promote independence and cooperative learning in the classroom! My main goal as a teacher is to provide my students with a calm and safe place to learn. Mindfulness and yoga are two areas I have been focusing on learning more about as well as implementing within the classroom. Happy teachers make for happy classrooms!
