TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is Kimberly Moseler and I have been teaching art in the classroom for 19 years. I have taught every grade level, but I'm currently teaching 6-12th grade and AP Studio art. I have been also teaching on Outschool for the last 3 years and love teaching students from around the world. I am teacher certified in the state of Florida, as well as ACSI certified. I have also been teaching private art lessons for the last 25 years. I also am a member of the Central Florida Chalk Artist Association and enjoy doing streetpainting at Disney and local events around the area.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very hands on and love to get the students working on their projects and doing their work with the least amount of lecture as possible. I do love to teach my students about art history along with their art pieces though, and love to sprinkle in those interesting facts as they move along with their projects.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My students have won many awards including the Congressional Art Award, local and state competition awards, and local festival Best of Show and 1st place ribbons. I love seeing them succeed!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Central Florida with a specialization in painting. I have taken several higher level courses in Education as well as AP Art certification. I have also taken classes to supplement by teaching such as a class on Procreate and several Photography classes.
