Techie Bird

Following more than 13 years of primary classroom experience I flew into a Technology Coaching role at my large suburban school district in Western NY the first chance I got! Integrating technology appropriately into the classroom has always been an interest of mine and now it's a real passion. For too long we tried to make the curriculum fit into the technology we had: the reality is we need to know the goal of our teaching and match the best tools to that outcome. My store provides the busy teacher with guidance to do just that!

Students learn so much through experience and discovery. I still love guiding a group or students through the process of creating their Genius Hour projects. I learn so much from every class I have the privilege to facilitate!
