I am a certified New York State public school teacher specializing in the area of Technology and its applications for career development. For the last 14 years I have instructed many students of divers cultures and backgrounds, including non-English speakers, to not only learn how to use the computer, but how to effectively apply it to enhance math and reading skills. Through my pedagogy, we learn how to incorporate hardware and software applications while infusing current technologies such as the Cloud computing and Social Media. I've taught as young as fourth graders through adults, both in public schools and in community centers. Although I'm a PC person, I regularly use iMac, and iPads. Moreover, I've served both as a consultant and technician for school-wide network implementation.
Not all of us are tech savvy, but we do need someone to guide us with the fundamentals.
