This is my 2nd year as a high school mathematics teacher.

I center my lessons around my students and meet them at their level. I often have multiple different activities going on in my classroom due to the vast difference in content and language abilities. Differentiation and culturally relevant content is key in my classroom.

I graduated from Northwestern University with my BA and UCLA with a Masters in Education specializing in Mathematics.

I teach at a Title I school in the city of Los Angeles. Last year I had an Algebra class where my students represented 12 different first languages. Differentiation and honoring the cultures of my students is key in my classroom! The vast difference in abilities in my classroom always provide a welcome challenge for me.
