Bryan Stanton is a trailblazer in theatre education. He has worked with four of the top educational associations like Texas Thespians, Texas Educational Theatre Association, and American Alliance for Theatre Education to enhance the classroom experience for both teachers and students. With a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Pedagogy and 15 years of live entertainment experience with SeaWorld, Disney, Legoland, and regional theatre companies he is widely regarded by theatre educators. His insights have been heard on ThedTalks, a podcast about educational theatre, and the Character.org blog focusing on building character in students through the arts. As a consultant, he can help any theatre teacher with building a curriculum that meets state standards but engages their students in rigorous, yet creative, theatre making.
My teaching style focuses on differentiation, inclusivity, and bringing curriculum with social-emotional learning. My curriculum maps, scope and sequences, and lesson plans will have a variety of options that allow students of all levels and abilities to progress in their standards.
