**Update** 2021-2022 Kindergarten 2020-2021 School year Kindergarten (hybrid class some E-learning and some Face to Face students all at the same time!) 2019-2020 VPK 2018-2019 VPK 2017-2018 VPK 2016-2017 3rd grade **Previous** 2015-2016 school year will be my 8th year teaching. I graduated in May of 2008 from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and became certified to teach grades PreK-3rd. Since then I have added Elementary Education to my certifications that allow me to be certified to teach any grade from Kindergarten to 6th grade. So now, between both of my certifications I can teach PreK-6th grade. My teaching experiences include an internship in Kindergarten at West Melbourne School for Science, 1st grade at Lockmar Elementary, and 3rd grade at University Park Elementary School. I then began my teaching career working for a local charter school where I taught 1st grade for 3 years and then taught a 1st and 2nd grade combination class my last and fourth year there. I then left the charter school to begin my career with Brevard Public Schools, where I began my time at Westside. I took on a few short-term teaching positions during my first year at Westside. I began a Kindergarten class, moved to a 5th grade class, 2nd grade class, and 6th grade class. That same school year I took an opportunity to teach a Kindergarten class at Columbia Elementary in January, they had been through 3 teachers and were in need of a teacher committed to staying and teaching them through the end of the year. I ended the school year with them in May that year. I then returned to Westside full time for the following school year where I taught 3rd grade. Last school year, I taught 6th grade. While I LOVED my 6th graders, I prefer to teach students in the Early Childhood grade levels where I can most utilize all that I learned during my college coursework, and asked if it would be possible to be assigned to 3rd grade or under for this 2015-2016 school year. Now my 8th year teaching will be back with 3rd graders!
