TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching over 20 years, 13 years in kindergarten and 8 years in a multi-age class of third and fourth graders. I teach third grade reading and fourth grade math in ability based grouping. I also teach a rotation of art to all seven classes of third and fourth grades. i have been the chair of the educator's association and am currently the professional development chair. I'm your all around seasoned teacher!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am fairly new to Kagan being my second year using the structures. Collaboration and group projects is my jam! Two heads are always better than one when you're bouncing ideas off of each other. I like to have fun with my classes and am constantly looking for new and exciting ways to teach. My own education is constantly evolving, I love to learn too! My students will say I'm a fun and nice teacher that loves to gush over her student's creations.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am in the Midwest so of course I married a cowboy. I have three children. I enjoy attending and being involved in their activities, sport's mom, baker of all team/activity meals, the, "Hang out" is at my house. I constantly love to create new things whether in the classroom or out. The prairie is one of my favorite places to be, we have a family ranch that I love to spend time on.
