I have eleven years experience as a classroom teacher in the social sciences. The majority of my experience is at the secondary level (9-12) but some activities are for grades 6-8 and others relate to community college curriculum for introductory coursework in American History.
Cooperative learning, project based activities, the multiple intelligences, and action research are at the root of my teaching methodology. Curriculum based upon teaching history through film is one of my research focuses.
