MY TEACHING STYLE

Creating a classroom where our students can grow personally as much as they do academically. School needs to be a place where our youth grow as people, not just as students! Differentiated instruction. I believe that student rapport is perhaps the most important part of being a teacher. Believing that every student is a child with great potential. I strongly believe that when students are learning math, it needs to be interesting, motivating, engaging, and relevant to their lives! And who doesn't like a little fun in math, too? I also believe that giving students the opportunity to reflect on their own learning is a crucial part of their learning process. As teachers, we need to be positive role models for our youth.
