TEACHING EXPERIENCE

During my senior year of high school, the pastor of my church asked me if I would teach a preschool Sunday school class for a few months. I agreed, unaware that those few months would completely change my life. By the end of that school year, I had changed all my plans for the future and decided to pursue education as my major in college. After graduating college in 2017, I started teaching third and fourth grade at a private Christian school. Since then, I have continued teaching combination elementary classes, ranging from first grade through fourth grade.

I attended Commonwealth Baptist College (Lexington, Kentucky) from 2013-2017 and received a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree in May 2017.

My husband is a teacher and the administrator at our Christian school; we have two sons, two cats, and one spoiled-rotten class hamster. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, sewing, crocheting, walking, and coming up with crazy new ideas for my classroom.
